Johnny Depp created Captain Jack as the lead pirate character in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise.
I love this quote because it speaks absolute truth. But I find it equally fascinating that in 100 years or more someone will find it written down somewhere and think Captain Jack Sparrow was a real person.
What is Attitude?
According to Google, attitude is defined as:
a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior.
Your behavior always reflects what you think and feel in some way. And, if you study the law of attraction, you know that what you think and feel determine what you manifest in your experience.
So hopefully you see the value in today’s quote of the day. The problem isn’t the problem. The problem is that you think it’s a problem at all. Problems don’t have to be problems. Change your attitude about them and they become opportunities to learn and grow.
Success is About Attitude
Success isn’t easy to achieve. If it was then there really wouldn’t be much point. It’s the challenges you face along the way that make it so sweet. Challenges provide growth opportunities.
But if you see every challenge as a problem then you quickly grind to a halt. Problems take the fun out of everything while challenges add flavor.
The thing is, problems and challenges are the same thing. The only difference is how you perceive them. And your attitude drives your perception.
So change your attitude, turn your problems in to puzzles, and stay excited about your goals. That’s the recipe for success.
