Who Was Eleanor Roosevelt?
Eleanor Roosevelt was married to US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and redefined the role of the American First Lady during her 4 terms. America elected FDR as President 4 times but died 11 weeks into his second term.
Her accomplishments stand on their own. She campaigned for women’s and minority’s rights and served as the first US delegate to the United Nations after pressing US political leaders to join the organization.
