Do you believe in your success?
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
– Eleanor Roosevelt
Who Was Eleanor Roosevelt?
Eleanor Roosevelt was married to US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and redefined the role of the American First Lady during her 4 terms. America elected FDR as President 4 times but died 11 weeks into his second term.
Her accomplishments stand on their own. She campaigned for women’s and minority’s rights and served as the first US delegate to the United Nations after pressing US political leaders to join the organization.
Believe in Your Success
Eleanor Roosevelt said that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. She isn’t talking about those fleeting dreams that you quickly forget when you wake up in the morning.
She means your goals, the things you set out to accomplish in your life.
And if you want to achieve your goal or manifest your vision, the first step is to believe in it. Otherwise, what’s the point?
Your belief in your dream is the thing that gets you out of bed in the morning. It keeps you going when obstacles and challenges appear.
If you don’t believe in yourself and what you want to accomplish, then you will likely quit at the first obstacle, if you even get started in the first place.
The future belongs to the people who build it.
Face it, if you have no goals, you have no future. In business, one of the first things you need is a vision statement. What need does it fill? What is its reason for existing?
Without it, the business loses direction and eventually ceases to exist.
That doesn’t mean that if you don’t have any goals then you’re going to die. It means that when you reach the end of your life you’re going to question whether you lived.
With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.
– Eleanore Roosevelt
And with new thoughts you choose your own reality.
