A person who never made a mistake
never tried anything new.– Albert Einstein

The Value of Mistakes
Any time that you try something new you are bound to make mistakes.
Think of a baby just beginning to learn how to walk. They fall down a lot.
I home school my kids, so I see it in their school work. Especially in math. As the teacher, I drill the process into them and watch them try to repeat it. By making mistakes they learn how the process works and where they need to be the most careful.
Entrepreneurship
I’m also self-employed. I don’t know of any manual that teaches me how to do what I do. I try something. If it works – great. If not, a mistake, I’ve learned something valuable. Just like Edison with the lightbulb right? I know a lot of ways not to make money, and they help me to narrow down and refine the ways that do work.
Never be afraid of making mistakes. They are the best teachers.
