Over the past year and a half I have allowed myself to get off track, way off track actually, with what I want to manifest in my experience. I woke up again about a month and a half ago, realized what I had allowed to happen, and began rearranging what I was doing.
The first thing that my wife and I started to do was an exercise that we read about several years ago in Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks. In this exercise you create an imaginary checking account. On the first day you deposit $1,000 into the account and you have “spend” all of that money by the end of the day. Then on the second day you deposit $2,000 and have to spend all, or most, of it.
Each day thereafter you increase the amount of your deposit by $1,000 so that on day three you have $3,000 to spend, $4,000 on day four, and so on for as long as you play the manifestation game.
To spend the money each day we might go to a store and take a picture of what we wanted to buy, or we might go online and download an image or take a screen capture of a page. Then we would print out the picture and put it in a binder with all of the other things that we “bought”.
The idea of the game is to feel the joy of being able to buy the things that you want. Even if you can’t afford something in the game today, like maybe a car, you know that you will be able to get it in a month or two (depending on the price of the car). That’s pretty cool.
After about a week we decided to change the game to make the energy around it bigger and further improve our ability to manifest the things we want. We pulled out an unused bulletin board from storage and each day we would each pin one thing that we wanted onto the board, essentially creating a family vision board. We included the kids in this and we would all sit by the board and tell each other about what we put on the board and how excited we were at the idea of having it.
What these activities did for me and my family was to begin shifting our energy from where we were to where we want to be. It got us out of the space of feeling stuck.
In my next several posts I will continue to share the other things that I have started doing, or returned to doing, in the past month to get back on track to deliberately manifest my future.

BTW, there are several more Law of Attraction exercises to practice in the Esther Hicks book, Ask and It Is Given. I highly recommend it and you can find it on Amazon.
